Terms and Conditions for the Use of Pooch Paddocks at Sandbeck Farm
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors at Sandbeck Farm, both canine and equine, please adhere to the following terms and conditions when using our pooch paddocks.
General Use
1. Supervision: Dogs must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
2. Leash Policy: Dogs must be on a leash at all times except within the designated pooch paddocks.
3. Cleanliness: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Waste bags and disposal bins are provided for your convenience.
4. Behavior: Dogs showing aggressive behavior towards other dogs, people, or horses must be removed immediately.
Respect for Horses
5. Proximity: Dogs must not approach or disturb the horses. Keep a safe distance at all times.
6. Noise Control: Excessive barking or noise that may startle the horses is prohibited.
7. Interaction: Do not allow dogs to chase or harass the horses in any way.
Property and Land Respect
8. Damage: Owners are liable for any damage caused by their dogs to the paddocks, fences, or any farm property.
9. Designated Areas: Stay within the designated dog-friendly areas. Do not enter restricted zones or any paddocks where horses are grazing.
10. Waste Disposal: Dispose of all waste in the designated bins to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the farm.
Health and Safety
11. Vaccinations: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be required.
12. Health: Do not bring sick or contagious dogs to the farm to prevent the spread of illness.
13. Injuries: Report any injuries or incidents to farm staff immediately.
Owner Responsibilities
14. Compliance: Follow all posted rules and guidelines. Farm staff instructions must be obeyed at all times.
15. Waiver: By using the pooch paddocks, owners acknowledge and accept all risks associated with the use of the facilities.
16. Insurance: Owners are encouraged to have liability insurance for their dogs.
