Booking & Payment
1. All bookings must be made in advance. Places are subject to availability.
2. A non-refundable deposit 25% of your total booking value, is required to secure a booking. The balance must be paid in full 14 days before your horse's arrival.
3. Failure to pay in full by thr due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
4. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. However, confirmed bookings will not be affected.
Cancellations & Refunds
5. Cancellations made more than 28 days before arrival may be eligible for a refund, minus the deposit.
6. Cancellations within 28 days of arrival are non-refundable.
7. No refunds or credits will be given for early departures or no-shows.
8. In the unlikely event that Sandbeck Farm must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. However, no liability will be accepted for additional costs insurred by the owner.
Horse Welfare & Veterinary Care
9. Owners must provide up-to-date vaccination records (including tetanus and flu) prior to arrival. Horses without valid vaccinations will not be accepted.
10. Owners must inform us of any known medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral issues before arrival.
11. In the event of an accident, injury, or illness, we will attempt to contact the owner. If unavailable, Sandbeck Farm reserves the right to call a veterinarian, with all costs borne by the owner.
12. If a horse poses a danger to itself, other horses, or staff, we reserve the right to request its immediate removal, with no refund given.
Liability & Insurance
13. Owners are responsible for insuring their horse against loss, injury, illness, or death.
14. Sandbeck Farm accepts no liability for loss, theft, injury, illness, or death of any horse while on the premises.
15. Owners acknowledge that equine activities carry inherent risks, and they board their horse entirely at their own risk.
16. Sandbeck Farm is not responsible for loss or damage to tack, rugs, feed, or other equipment.
Facilities & Conduct
17. Horses will be stabled and turned out as per the agreed care plan. Any changes must be discussed in advance.
18. Owners must provide their own feed, supplements, and any specific equipment required for their horse’s care.
19. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any horse that is:
• In poor health or requiring intensive care beyond our capabilities.
• Dangerous or exhibiting behavior that puts others at risk.
• Not covered by valid insurance (if required).
20. Owners and visitors must adhere to all yard rules and safety policies while on the premises.
21. These terms and conditions form a legally binding contract.
22. Any disputes will be settled under the jurisdiction of the UK legal system and by UK Law.
23. Sandbeck Farm reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Updated terms will be available on request.
